YMCA TRINITY GROUP Mental Health Staff Training YMCA Trinity Group have 30 years experience in providing mental health services to young people. In response to demand, and in consultation with schools, we have developed a range of staff training programmes in a variety of topics.

Introduction to Mental Health Delegates will be given a brief introduction about mental health, what happens during therapy and strategies you can use in your setting. You will therefore feel better equipped and confident to offer solutions and identify those that need support. Risk Taking Behaviour This workshop focuses on risk taking behaviour in young people - such as online risks, smoking, drug & alcohol misuse, sex and inappropriate relationships. During the session we will look at the influences on young people of the media, peers, family and general misinformation. The session culminates in an explorative discussion of effective interventions and solutions - enabling you to better support young people to make positive choices when faced with any type of risk.
