All-on-4 Surgical Protocol & Zygoma Rehabilitating Severely Atrophic Maxillae with the MALO CLINIC Protocol Presented by Prof. Paulo Malo and the MALO CLINIC Clinical Team SYNOPSIS Designed for surgeons with extensive experience in implant dentistry the course covers the All-on-4 surgical protocol in detail mainly concentrating on the combination of this technique with the use of zygoma implants Hybrid and Double-Zygoma approaches offering a comprehensive training that will allow you to gain the skills and know-how to successfully rehabilitate severely resorbed maxillae in just a few hours. Pioneered by Prof. Paulo Malo in the early 90 s, the All-on-4 protocol is an innovative surgical procedure for the rehabilitation of edentulous jaws focusing entirely on the patient and allowing you to offer immediate function and excellent esthetics with a limited number of implants, eliminating the need for time consuming and often debilitating bone graft procedures. For severely atrophic maxillae, this procedure is complemented with extra-maxillary (zygoma) anchored implants which placement will be covered in detail during this training. Including live surgery and a zygoma hands-on session, the course will take you through all the relevant aspects, from patient selection to treatment planning, and anatomic and imaging considerations, all the way through to the fitting of the immediate and final prostheses so you can offer immediate function to your patients even when facing with extremely atrophic maxilla cases. We encourage you to bring your own cases for discussion and a mentorship program is included to support you on your first cases. Hopefully when you get back to your office, you will be able to call back a few patients to offer them this new alternative. CLINICAL RESIDENCY Presented by Prof. Paulo Malo and the MALO CLINIC Clinical Team SYNOPSIS MALO CLINIC Education has created an observation program where the participant follows the daily work and surgical schedule of Prof. Paulo Malo and the MALO CLINIC Clinical Team. Our Clinical Residencies are typically for much smaller groups of participants with a lot more focus on the daily work of the clinic rather than on lectures and pure training programs. The participant can observe surgeries or other treatments, or follow the surgical procedures via CCTV. The program may include the All-on-4, Immediate Function single and partial, MALO CLINIC Bridge and fixed Prosthodontics, as well as other procedures of the various specialties of dentistry. We share with you theoretical information not only concerning the All-on-4 surgical procedure but also Considerations on Imaging, NobelGuide TM and MALO CLINIC Bridge.
