A Summer Quarter Welcome Message from the Dean Dear Members of the Emperor s College Community: As we approach the summer solstice the yang is at it's maximum, and so is our Clinical faculty! We are very privileged and pleased to have returning senior faculty Dr. Jin YunHong joining our clinical faculty this summer quarter in addition to our Herbal Department bringing her 40 years of clinical experience. I hope each of you will enjoy and take the most out of all the opportunities that may come your way with these amazing supervisors. Speaking of our amazing faculty, I want you to be aware of the fact that our clinical and didactic faculty have a combined millennium of clinical experience--yes, that's correct, 1,000 years of clinical experience! We are now past the midway point into the quarter with summer registration just two weeks away. I am pleased to announce that we have newly added elective this coming quarter as well as the largest and most comprehensive offering of electives to date! The course descriptions as well as their prerequisites will be posted on the student announcement board across from room A. Dr. Holly Goguen will be on maternity leave we offer her our heartfelt thanks for all the hard work and expert teaching that she has given to our students over the years, wish her the best for the arrival of twins! We look forward to her return in the near future. The schedule will be posted on May 20th at www.emperors.edu. You can find your assigned registration day and time at the administration office front desk with our registrar Marcia. Anyone who is taking the Comprehensive or Mid Curriculum exams in June at the end of this Spring quarter should already be registered.. Please make an appointment with Dr. Gretchen Badami, our Associate Dean. I recommend that each of you check in to get an
