THIRD ANNUAL AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY C2C RUN AUGUST 25-26, 2017 TWO DAYS. 131 MILES. GO THE DISTANCE TO END CANCER. What is the C2C Run? The third annual American Cancer Society C2C Run is a two-day, relay-style running adventure from Columbus to Cincinnati. Participants will run farther, train harder, and help save lives from cancer. Funds raised through the C2C Run support those who are currently dealing with a cancer diagnosis, those who may face a diagnosis in the future, and those who may avoid a diagnosis altogether thanks to education and risk reduction. What is the Road To Recovery program? Having cancer is hard. Finding a ride to treatment shouldn t be. The American Cancer Society Road To Recovery program provides free rides for cancer patients to and from treatments and cancer-related appointments. Trained volunteer drivers donate their time and the use of their personal vehicles to help patients get to the treatments they need. Each year in Ohio, more than 13,000 rides are provided to cancer patients in need through the American Cancer Society Road To Recovery program and other transportation programs. Thanks to support from fundraising events like the C2C Run, we are moving closer to a world free from the pain and suffering of cancer.
