Otolaryngology DIAMOND Conference March 8-9, 2019 Conference Overview This one-and-a-half day conference is designed specifically for the practicing otolaryngologist. Our goal is to provide health care practitioners with a comprehensive update on otolaryngology with a specific focus on otology, head and neck surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology. Target Audience & Objectives This course is designed to present health care practitioners with current information on the diagnosis and management of selected diseases commonly seen by otolaryngologists. At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to: 1. Describe the difference between acoustical and electrical (neural) hearing. 2. Utilize novel immunotherapy approaches and appreciate their impact on historical surgical management of head and neck cancer. 3. Recognize the purpose of professional peer review and its function within the scope of personnel and faculty management.
