The Academy s public policy priorities include developing an adequate, well-trained, sustainable hospice and palliative care workforce preserving and expanding timely access to hospice and palliative care increasing funding for hospice and palliative care research ensuring timely and effective access to prescription medications advancing palliative care in national quality measurement and performance improvement strategies. EXPAND YOUR KNOWLEDGE These in-person and on-demand educational opportunities address critical topics that advance your practice, educate your team, and help you prepare for and maintain your subspecialty and hospice medical director certification. As a member, you receive discounts up to 30% on products and fees. ATTEND THE ANNUAL ASSEMBLY As the largest meeting for the specialty, the Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care offers the most current hospice and palliative care education through plenary sessions, skill-building workshops, interdisciplinary case conferences, and scientific research paper and poster sessions. More than 3,400 physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinicians and practitioners attend each year for the education, networking events, and exhibits. Join us!
