ESOTERIC HEALING SERIES Intrductin We hnr and thank all wh came befre us, all teachers, frm whm we have learned and wh have been there fr us with infinite patience, lve, and wisdm. 1. Esteric Healing Series: Intrductin 1.1 Expectatin f students 1.2 What it is 1.3 What it is nt 2. Cntext f EH 2.1 Universe 2.2 Frntier 3. Requirements f the Esteric Healer 3.1 Silence 3.2 Healing grup 3.3 Fcused mind 3.4 Sul is the healer 3.5 Harmlessness 4. Energies Invlved 4.1 Lve 4.2 Prana 1. Esteric Healing Series: Intrductin 1.1 Expectatin f students: New students: What d yu expect frm this class? Intermediate students: What have yu gained frm the previus tw years f esteric healing classes? What t yu expect frm the present class? 1.2 What it is: In simple everyday language we will explre the pssible underlying, energetic causes f health and/r disease. We will use mainly, but nt exclusively, the healing principles as given by the Tibetan Lama Djwhal Khul and defined and explained in Esteric Healing by A. A. Bailey. We will apply these principle thrugh explratin f case histries t psychlgical states, fr instance t depressin, anxiety, bsessincmpulsin, and addictin.

2 We will learn grup healing meditatin and healing mantrams. At the cmpletin f the eight classes we will have a fundatin in understanding the underlying causes f health and disease and will be able t participate in healing meditatin using sul energy. 1.3 What it is nt Disclaimer: The infrmatin in this lecture is nt intended t diagnse, treat, cure, r prevent any disease r illness. Nr will we explre disease and health frm a physilgical and scientific pint f view. Matters f persnal health shuld be under the directin f a physician. 2. Cntext f EH 2.1 In the universe Macr- and micrcsmic rbit f energies Struggle between descending and ascending streams f energies In what cntext can we understand disease, pain and suffering within the wrld? Esteric philsphy understands disease as a temprary manifestatin f disharmnius energies. Within the universe, there are tw streams f energy flwing alng an interwven netwrk. These energies stream frth frm the innermst center f the unmanifested universe t the utermst manifested universe and return back. All is intercnnected and cnstantly circulating and transmitting (EH, 615). One stream is utging and descending, resulting in invlutin. The ther stream is returning and ascending, resulting in evlutin. Ancient wisdm tells us as abve s belw. T translate this cncept frm the csms int the wrld f a single human being, we speak f the macrcsmic rbit r f the micrcsmic rbit respectively. Within each f us are streams f energies, all intercnnected and cnstantly circulating and transmitting; ne streams dwn and ne up. We utilize these energies in ur Cmmunity Light Meditatin (Hehne, 2009), fr instance, t imprve ur health and/r gain insight int different situatins in ur life. In this framewrk, disease can be understd as the result f frictin between these tw paths f energy. In esteric literature we read that atmic substance f the descending path is temprarily. The atmic substance f the descending path dminates temprarily its wn kind f frm nature ver the ascending energies f sul. The results are temprary disharmny, suffering, pain, disease, and maybe even death. Why is this s? It is t a great part ur resistance t and attitude abut disease that causes suffering. Resistance t r pre-ccupatin with disease simply energizes it (EH, 32). If we wuld fcus instead n the underlying energies and pssible causes f disease, disease wuld becme an pprtunity fr insight and meaning and therefre culd be healing.

3 2.2 Frntier Alternative treatment mdality Causes and nt effects N guaranteed cure Presently, Esteric Healing is cnsidered a frntier. A clear terminlgy has nt yet been develped t describe its prcess adequately. It is still a secndary alternative treatment mdality t cnventinal medical treatment. This must always be respected and given due cnsideratin. Esteric Healing is subjective and fcuses n causes and nt effects. N cure can be guaranteed. There are three pssible utcmes f healing, and all are f equal imprtance within the Law f Cause and Effect (EH, 714). These three pssible utcmes are: cmplete healing, acceptance and adjustment, and assistance in the dying prcess (EH, 8). 3. Requirements f the Esteric Healer Silence Healing grup Fcused mind Sul is the healer Harmlessness 3.1 Silence Esteric Healing is subjective and fcuses n causes and nt effects. Abslute silence is required regarding all healing wrk (EH, 105). The universe is intercnnected thrugh a netwrk f energies and frces, which is called the etheric web 1. Every event causes ripples thrughut this web, ging ut cncentrically and returning. Healing invlves the manipulatin f these energies by the fcused mind and intent f the esteric healer. Therefre, any thught r wrd f the healer is such an event and can have either a healing r a harmful effect. Speech particularly will deflect and disslve the healing frce. 3.2 Healing grup Esteric thught views the universe as ne. T utilize this neness esteric healer d nt wrk as a single individual, but wrk thrugh the grup f which they are a part. The healing grup can be bjective r subjective. The healing grup, the healer, and the healee becme ne during the healing prcess (EH, 645). 3.3 Fcused mind The esteric healer must be able t fcus the mind. A gentle, but firm cntinuus stream f healing energies is directed frm the pint between the 1 Fr the definitin f ether, please refer t the glssary.

4 eyebrws, the ajna center, tward the apprpriate area r energy center f the healee. 3.4 Sul is the healer The healer is always the sul f the healee. Bth freedm f chice f the persnality and the sul f the healee are paramunt and need t be respected at all times. In such a way the healing prcess becmes an allwing and nt a frcing. The esteric healer gently redirects the fcus f the healee upward tward the wrld f causes, the wrld f meaning, f sul, and health. Even thugh esteric healers wrk as sul thrugh their wn persnality, the relatinship between the healer and healee must be persnal. It will facilitate shared understanding and dynamic cperatin within the healing prcess (EH, 385, 600). 3.5 Harmlessness The healer needs t be unselfish. All pssible persnal needs, judgments, criticism, attachment, and self-centeredness f the healer have n place in the healing prcess. They hinder neness and healing and, in additin, create separatin and harm. 4. Energies Invlved Lve Prana There are tw methds the esteric healer can use: radiatry and/r magnetic healing. Bth methds are different and depend n the healer and the healee. The advanced esteric healer uses bth methds radiatry and/r magnetic depending n the need at hand. The healer ges back and frth between bth methds, either in the same healing sessin r in a subsequent ne. 4.1 Lve Radiatry healing uses the lving energies f Sul. They are selfless, cherent, and full f life-giving quality. 4.2 Prana Magnetic healing wrks with prana, the etheric frce f the etheric bdy. It vitalizes and becmes respnsive t the mind. Tgether they blend and fuse int ne stream f healing.
