LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT HI MEMBERS, First State Pickleball Club, Inc. is a club of members for our members. From the leadership of Butch and Cheryl Martin, founders in 2014, our club has grown to 280 members. We have the only permanent public dedicated Pickleball courts, year round play at Dave Marshall s tennis facility, Sunday morning indoor play at JM Clayton for Social to Advanced Players, a ladder league on Tuesday evenings, Beach Blast tournament (June 11-12 at Clayton Elementary school), Club clinics, professional clinics (Coach Mo), social events, and the best of all friends, laughter, and exercise. None of these activities would have happened with our the many members who have helped make this happen. Without the dedication of members to help, this club would not exist. I cannot say enough about our court managers at each of our sessions and all who have pitched in to set up and take down the courts. That s the team work that makes our club a success. On the next page you will see a flow chart of FSPC and some of the volunteers. After you review our flow chart, take a look at the names and the jobs each does. See when and how you can help one of these volunteers. Let them know you are here to help. There are some administrative positions needing a commitment. Please let me know if you have the time to add more support. I am very grateful to our Executive Board, Members At Large, and consultants through the transition of leadership and their unwavering passion for the sport and to our club. Sincerely, Pat Powell, FSPC President
