Before our formal meeting we met in the parking lot to discuss the plans for our annual All Ford Car and Truck Show to be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016. We organized the entrance for the cars, the location for the hospitality tent, and registration. We adjourned to continue our meeting inside Chilis, to enjoy our meal, and continue the formal portion of our meeting. One topic of discussion was what to do about our show with the threat of Hurricane Matthew in our future. It was determined that decision would be made no later than Wednesday, October 5. There were 26 members present at our meeting, including our youngest Mustang fan, the grandson of Leah and Neal McLean, Chance. The slate of officers for the 2017 election was presented. The membership will vote at our November meeting and the nominations will be open for nominations from the floor at that time. The slate that was presented President Bob Ellis, Vice President Greg Griffith, Treasurer---Kurt Miller, Secretary Emily Griffith, and Member at Large Clint Morrell. Jessie Lisanne prayed to bless our food, our nation, and our club and our members. We enjoyed a delicious meal and the fellowship of our members. Terry adjourned the meeting and reminded everyone to drive safely on the way home. On Tuesday, October 4 it was decided that our show would be postponed to Saturday, October 15 because of the threat of Hurricane Matthew. Due to the flooding in our area this was a very wise decision. The November meeting will be on Saturday, November 12 at Mike s Farm at 3:00PM. This is a Saturday rather than our normal Sunday meeting day, so please mark your calendars accordingly. The Wilmington members will meet at COSTCO at 1:30 PM for a 1:45 departure. Jacksonville members will meet at the Speedway (old wilco Hess) on 24 at 2:15 for a 2:30 departure.

Page 2 ANNUAL ALL FORD CAR AND TRUCK SHOW Our annual All Ford Car and Truck Show was held on Saturday, October 15, 2016. Due to the visit of Hurricane Matthew it was necessary to postpone our show for one week. Due to the change in date, and the damage to other parts of North Carolina the number of cars and trucks that were judged was a bit lower than years past. We had 70 total cars on the show field including our own display cars. There were 48 cars that were judged. Our Sponsors Choice award went to Robin Funke for his 1957 Ford F-100 truck. Our Best in Show award went to John Sloper for his 2011 Mustang Shelby GT/500. RECENT SHOW AWARDS Nancy Moore, Michael Moore, and Glenn Spencer entered their cars in the local Mo- Par Show. Glenn and Michael both received awards. Our very own Glenn Spencer entered his Mustang in the 2016 MCA National Show in Myrtle Beach, SC. Glenn was awarded a Gold Award for his Patriotic Mustang. Well Done Glenn. We are all proud of your achievement.
