The videoconference was attended by total 120 participants, comprising of both senior and young doctors, not only from various medical colleges and private institutions of Delhi & NCR, but also many delegates came from far away cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Indore, Kolkata etc.

8. Cervical Cancer Awareness Rally A Cervical Cancer Awareness Rally was organized and sponsored by Sant Parmanand Hospital, with full support of Dr.Shekhar Agarwal and vibrant gynae team headed by Dr.Nirmala Agarwal, in association with AOGD, DGF (North), ISCCP, RCOG (NZ), IMS on 2 nd April 2017, Sunday in North Delhi. The 2 km walk started from Bonta Kamla Nehru Ridge, Delhi University and culminated at Sant Parmanand Hospital. There was active participation of Innerwheel District 301, Friends of Parmanand, Bonta Runners & Okti Foundation. The rally was a great success, 450 people walked for this noble cause. On reaching Sant Parmanand Hospital an awareness programme was conducted for the public.
Public awareness talk were on- 1. Causes of Cervical Cancer by Dr.Ranjana Sharma 2. Signs and Symptoms of Cervical Cancer by Dr.Sonal Bathla 3. Ways to Prevent Cervical Cancer by Dr.Sweta Balani 4. Myths & Facts of Vaccination by Dr.Sanjivini Khanna Poetry recitation by Ms.Nirmal Jain, Ms.Renu Gupta, Dr.Priti Arora and Ms.Ameya were excellent. The message was clearly given to the public that cervical cancer can be prevented by early vaccination & cervical cancer screening. Friends of Parmanand in association with Sant Parmanand Hospital registered 70 women for free Gynae Health Check week, which will be conducted at Sant Parmanand Hospital.
9. Donation given for Higher Education of underprivileged Girls Dr. Verma informed every one that as part of our obligation holding a charitable society status and as agreed during our last GBM, North Zone has now donated an amount of Rs. 6 Lacs (cheque no. 249112 dated 12-05-2017 Amount given equal to Rs 10000/- Per month contribution over 5 years period) towards the higher education of underprivileged girls currently studying at Amitasha school run by the Amity Humanity Foundation. The cheque was delivered personally to Dr. Mrs. Amita Chauhan - the founder director of Amitasha school at their annual day celebration held on 12 th may 2017. Dr. Anita kaul (Treasurer), Dr. Ranjana Sharma (Secretary) and Dr. Sweta Gupta also attended the function and everyone together handed over the cheque. Dr. chauhan reassured that a detail report of the money spent will be sent by them to North Zone on a regular basis. 10.
