HELPING PEOPLE AFFECTED BY CANCER Established in 1987, Cancer Fund delivers territory wide support and prevention programmes to reduce the physical and emotional burden of cancer. We serve cancer patients, survivors, their families and friends. Through information, emotional support, research, improved hospital care and practical assistance, we fill the gaps in cancer care and work towards building a cancer free future.

Radiotherapy department at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital SUPPORT IN THE HOSPITAL We have established six Cancer Patient Resource Centres and a Palliative Day Care Centre throughout Hong Kong s major public hospitals, offering a calming centre where patients and their families can access cancer information, psychosocial support, counselling, and other essential resources to help them throughout their cancer journey. We also fund medical equipment and help to refurbish oncology wards, waiting areas and radiotherapy rooms to make cancer treatment more comfortable and less daunting. SUPPORT IN THE COMMUNITY: CANCERLINK CancerLink is a centralised meeting point in the community where cancer patients, survivors and their families can share experiences with people in the same boat, access information and psychosocial support from professional carers, or enrol in complementary therapies that help to lessen feelings of isolation. With an emphasis on tailor-made support, CancerLink helps to strengthen the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of individuals.
