MAEER s Physiotherapy College Talegaon Dabhade Workshops 2018 MAEER s Physiotherapy College, Talegaon Dabhade organised a 2 day workshop on Pilates Mat & Ball by -Dr. Prakkash Sharoff proprietor Physiohealth research and teaching institute on 21/4/18 & 22/4/18 for 4 th year B.P.Th, Interns & M.P.Th students. There were 34 participants attending the workshop.
Report of Workshop on Mulligan Concept Manual Therapy organized by MAEER S Physiotherapy College Talegaon Dabhade DATE- 19/10/18 to 27/10/18 Conducted by: Dr. Kiran Satpute (M.T.C.A) Coordinator: Dr. Varoon Jaiswal MAEER S Physiotherapy College Talegaon Dabhade conducted 8 days workshop on Mulligan Concept manual therapy by Dr. Kiran Satpute (M.C.T.A) on 19/10/18 to 27/10/18. There were 6 participants who attended workshop. The registrations for the workshop started at around 9.00 am on 19/10/18 follwed by breakfast. At 10.00 am Dr. Varoon introduced Dr. Kiran Satpute to the participants he was felicited by bouquet by Dr. Snehal Ghodey madam Lecture and practical sessions in pairs were conducted followed by lunch break at 1.30 pm. At 4.00pm participants were given tea break. The workshop ended at 5.30 pm on all days. On 27 th Oct, Participants were given feedback forms which were collected at 3.00pm. At 3.30 valedictory and certificate distribution followed by vote of thanks by Dr. Varoon Jaiswal.
Report of Kinesiotaping Workshop organized by MAEER S Physiotherapy College Talegaon Dabhade DATE- 8/9/18 & 9/9/18 Conducted by: Dr Prakash Shroff Physiohealth Research And Teaching Institute Coordinator: Dr Anuradha Sutar MAEER S Physiotherapy College Talegaon Dabhade conducted 2 days workshop on kinesiotaping by Dr Prakash Shroff on 8/9/18 and 9/9/18 for 4 th yr BPTh students and interns With the permission and guidance of principal Dr. Snehal Ghodey Mam, the whole planning of organizing workshop was undertaken. There were 15 participants and two faculty who attended workshop Dr. Anuradha Sutar and Dr Bindu Sarfare The registrations for the workshop started at around 9.00 am on 8/8/18 follwed by breakfast. At 10.00 am Dr Sumitra introduced Dr Prakash Shroff to the participants he was felicited by bouquet by Dr. Anuradha Sutar. Lecture and practical sessions for spine with pair were conducted followed by lunch break at 1.30 pm. At 4.00pm participants were given tea break. The workshop for the first day ended at 5.30 pm. On 9 th sept, breakfast at 8.30 were started,at 9.00am participants were given upper limb kinesotaping hands on practical session with pairs. Lunch break as given at 2.30 pm. Participants were given feedback forms which were collected at 3.00pm. at 3.30 valedictory and certificate distribution followed by vote of thanks by Dr. Bindu Sarfare.
REPORT ON EMG NCV WORKSHOP ORGANISED BY MAEER S PHYSIOTHERAPY COLLEGE, TALEGAON DABHADE DATE: 31 st August, 1 st Sept, 2 nd Sept 2018 Number of Participants : 19 Resource Person: Dr. Manisha Talpallikar Organiser: Dr. Sayli Paldhikar and Department of Neurophysiotherapy MAEER S Physiotherapy College, in association with Department of Neurophysiotherapy organized a 2and a half day hands on workshop on EMG NCV by Dr. Manisha Desai- Talpallikar on 31st August, 1st Sept, 2nd Sept 2018. This Workshop was aimed at Faculty, post graduate students, interns and final year B. P.Th students interested in electro diagnosis. 19 participants from all over Maharashtra including 2 MAEER S Physiotherapy College staff, Dr. Priya Chitre and Dr. Sanjivani Kamble attended the workshop. On 31 st August 2018, after registration and breakfast from 9-9.30, inauguration of World Physiotherapy Week celebration was done at the hands of Dr. Manisha in New Lecture Hall, followed by a lecture till 1pm. Post lunch participants were given hands on demonstration and practice of NCV in Core lab of Physiotherapy College on 3 separate instruments. Breakfast, lunch and hi tea was arranged on all 3 days. Lecture notes were distributed via email to all participants. On day 2 and day 3, a total of 7 patients were also called for demonstration of EMG NCV on different conditions. Participants were also shown how to read EMG NCV reports. Everyone was given several reports for practicing analysis. On day 2 and 3, all participants also got opportunity to practice needle EMG on each other as well as patients. DR. Manisha interacted with every participant to explain their queries. At the end of the event, post workshop feedback forms were distributed and collected from all participants. Certificates were distributed and workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Priya Chitre.
