INTRODUCTION As we know the child is future of a nation. The stage of growth and development is called childhood. Proper nutrition is the main effective cause of growth and development of a child. The childhood stage is more prompt to growth and development than the other stage of age. In developing countries, the proper nutrition is a great problem because of poorness, Illiteracy, and lack of awareness of the society. The malnutrition develops because the poor parents could not provide proper and balanced nutritional diet to their child. The essential ingredient of the diet i.e. Carbohydrate, Proteins, Fats, Vitamins, and Minerals must be component of a child diet. The presence of proper ratio of these substances in the body is called well nutrition. According to nutritional science, the milk is a complete diet for the feeding child, but after one year of age, only milk couldn t provide the essential elements for the growth of a child. The composition of milk varies according to mother s age and quality of diet. According to Ayurveda, three chief cause of the disease are-

Impact factor: 0.3397/ICV: 4.10 191 Asatmendriyarth samyoga, Pragyaparadha and Parinam (1). in other words, main cause of diseases are Aahar (Ingestion),Vihar (Behavior) and Kala (Environment or Time). The Aahar (Proper Improper diet) is may be a cause of growth and development of body or disease. So the growth / development and health of a child is totally depends on the diet. Ashtaksheeradoshs described in Ayurveda are (2) Vaivarna (Discoloured), Vairashya (Differ taste), Vaigandha (Odour deformed), Paichilya (Excessive viscid), Fenasanghat (Frouthy), Ruksha (Lack of fat), Gaurava (heavy for digestion), and Atisneha (Unctuous). According to Doshavaishamya, the kseer dosha again divided in four groups Vataj ksheeradosh, Pittaj ksheeradosh, Kaphaj ksheeradosh andtrtidoshaj ksheeradosh.the chief character of Balshosha disease is Shosha (Loss of muscle mass) and according to Samprapti (Pathogenesis) this originated by Kaphaj ksheeradoshaj. Causes:- According to Vagabhata- the causes of Balashosha are - Day sleeping, High quantity of drinking, and feeding of shleshmic dusht ksheer. and arise the symptoms of Balashosha. The symptom of is disease are Arochak (Anorexia ), Pratishyay (Rhinitis), Jwara (Mild pyrexia), Kasa (Cough), Sushyata (loss of muscle mass), Pale colouration on mouth and conjunctiva (Anaemia). (3) The purpose of selection the topic for research is raised ratio of Bala shosha (Malnutrition disorder) in Bala roga clinic of MMM govt. Ayueveda College Udaipur. It is a fact, that a lot of clinical and conceptual work has been done on this topic, but relatively simple / easy / low coast formulated preparation is the need of the day. The duration of consumption, Palatable dose form ensures the compliances of the patients. MATERIAL AND METHODS A hypothetical combination of three Dravyas (Herbal drugs) are selected in powder form named as Madhvashva yoga for correction of dosh gati and roga marga i. e. to break down pathogenesis. In Balshosh due to above discuss various types of causes, the diminished Agni generate the Aama. This Aama mixed with Rasa dhatu and vitiate the Rasa called as Aam Rasa. This Aam rasa circulate through various Srotasa in all over the body and creates a stage of Srotas vaigunya by which it decrease the function of Rasa vaha srotasa. Due to decreased circulation of rasa or Aam rasa the conversion of rasa in other Dhatu is diminished and the Shosha of the body is developed.

Impact factor: 0.3397/ICV: 4.10 192 The Madhvashva Yoga hypothetical combination is formed by three drugs i.e. Ashvagandha,Yastimadhu and Shunthi and is selected due to its properties and action for Samprapti vighatana (Breacking of Pathogenesis).
