Page 2 President s Message VOLUM E 10, ISS UE 1 Fellow Members, A new year is upon us and several new faces to the CFAAA Board. Please give them your support and encouragement.. As always suggestions are welcome as is your enthusiasm and attendance at CFAAA functions. Be sure to come to The After Holiday Holiday Party on January 27 in the Parks Room at the Richardson Civic Center located at 411 W. Arapaho Rd. Richardson, TX 75080. It is a great time to catch up with current and returning members or even participate in the firethemed white elephant gift exchange. The CFAAA recently held a fundraiser at Frankie's Mexican Restaurant in Canyon Creek. Frankie and crew generously donated a percentage of the profits gained during a Saturday evening dinner rush. Several CFAAA members were in attendance along with Fire Fighters and members of the City Council in support. We received $115 in direct donations at the CFAAA information and greeting table and another $315.90 donated from Frankie's. Thank You to all that worked and came out for support. The Frankie's Fundraiser was organized specifically to support the upcoming RFD 2015 Awards Banquet on February 6. The CFAAA Banquet Team can still use donations to make this event a true show of appreciation for our Fire Fighters. Please contact Debbie Conard or Alicia Marshall to make donations. The Awards Banquet is always a great event so be sure to attend and please RSVP; it makes Mechelle very happy when you RSVP. Travis Day
