Main challenges are : lack experience of clinical and lab diagnosis, lab capacity ( lab supplies) low implementation of biosecurity in the farms disposal of animal carcasses 2. Gaps : Need to revise the legal basis in the field. Amendments to Government Decision nr. 645 of 19.07.2010 to approve the Regulation on how to calculate compensation to owners of slaughtered, killed animals or otherwise affected by the urgent eradication of disease outbreaks 3.
