George Ash Universal Music "Sitting on a stool armed with just a microphone in front of a hot band, Stevens has always had the ability to blow the roof off venues." Ian Cuthbertson - The Australian "Having watched Jon over the years I always walked away from the live shows thinking he was one of the finest singers I have ever heard. I am thrilled to be part of this new chapter in his career. We look forward to helping Jon reach even greater heights. Ralph Carr RCM International People know who Jon Stevens is. And they love him. Not only has Jon fronted two of Australia's finest bands, Noiseworks and INXS, but he is on a great solo musical journey that he weaves into his life everyday - and he has done that throughout his career. The Metro Gnome Jon and the band all put on a stellar performance which seemed to be appreciated by everyone in the room for this sold out gig. Faster Louder "Jon is a true Australian rock icon who delivers time and time again." Frank Stivala Premier Artist Very few voices get richer and stronger without losing power and range. Rangi is blessed with one of the best ʻset of pipesʼ on the planet!! Richard Wilkins With its smoky timbre and Pacifica gospel-tinged inflections, Jon Stevensʼ voice has always held him in good stead whether he was fronting rock bands as Noiseworks and INXS, or delving into the goldmines of soul music. Big voiced and brazen, it was authentic to the core. Stevensʼ soft-spoken and gentle personal manner belies his dynamism onstage, or how his songwriting reflects his self-belief, and his role as a messenger. After all, what greater compliment could his own soul idol Ray Charles pay him than recording one of Stevensʼ songs, All Or Nothing" in the early 90s? Itʼs interesting that Stevens reclaimed the song on his 2011 album Testify, an album which he says began a new chapter for him. Faced with his own mortality after a health scare, it was not surprising that the singer searched for redemption in the very songs that gave him his identity in the first place.
