Differentiation in lung and L.I. The main physiological function of the lung is in charge of breathing, supplements heart for blood circulation, and regulates the water metabolism. It s common manifestation as cough, asthma, sputum expectoration, chest pain, hemoptysis, celostomia, runny liquid nose, edema.
1-Lung Qi deficiency It refers to the lung Qi deficiency failure in opening and descending. Abdominal pain, dysentery with pus and beeding, tenesmus, or abrupt violent diarrhea with foul yellow stool, burning sensation in the anus, yellow and scanty urine, or thirsty, or fever, red tongue with yellow and greasy coating, soft rapid or slippery rapid pulse. 1 The damp heat evil obstructs in L.I. resulting in the irregulation of transportation in L.I. 2 dysentery or diarrhea and damp heat 3 Fever, thirsty, yellow and scanty urine, red tongue with yellow and greasy coating, soft rapid or slippery rapid pulse indicate internal damp heat. 4 有腹痛, 下痢脓血, 里急后重, 或暴注下泻等大肠病的症状
( 十 ) Fluid insufficiency in Large Intestine It refers to the body fluid deficiency fails to nourish the Large intestine. Burning pain in the chest and hypochondrium, irritability and easy to be angry, headache and congestive eyes, intermittent cough, yellow and sticky sputum, even hemoptysis, restlessness and bitter in the mouth, red tongue with thin yellow coating, wiry and rapid pulse. 1 Liver fire burns lungs and makes lungs failure in descending. 2 Burning pain in the chest and hypochondrium, cough or hemoptysis and internal excessive fire. 3 Burning pain in the chest and hypochondrium, irritability and easy to be angry, headache and congestive eyes, intermittent cough, yellow and sticky sputum, even hemoptysis due to liver and lungs. 4 有烦热口苦, 舌红苔薄黄, 脉弦数等实火内炽之热象
