FIRST-AID MEASURES [Symptoms] Skin Contact: There be mild irritation and redness at site of contact. Eye Contact: There may be pain and redness. Possibility of permanent damage from powder. Ingestion: It is unlikely that this substance will be swallowed due to physical properties Inhalation: There may be irritation of the throat with a feeling of tightness in the chest. FIRST AID MEASURES [ACTIONS] Skin contact: Drench the affected skin with running water for up to 10 minutes. Remove all contaminated clothes in contact with skin. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists. Eye Contact: Bathe the eye with running water for 15 minutes. Seek medical advice is irritation persists. Ingestion: Wash mouth out with water. Do not induce vomiting. If conscious, give ½ litre of water to drink immediately. Consult a doctor. Inhalation: No problem in normal use. 5. The product is formulated using a range of micro-organisms specially selected from the natural environment and that are known to be non-pathogenic to humans, animals or plants. It is advised to cover open wounds when in use. 12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION 12.1 Mobility: This preparation has high water solubility and low vapour pressure. Therefore it is likely to distribute predominantly to the aqueous environment. 12.2 Biodegradability: The preparation is expected to biodegrade rapidly. However no information on anaerobic biodegradation is available. 12.3 Accumulation: Not anticipated to bioaccumulate due to high water solubility and hence, biomagnification is not likely. 12.4 Ecotoxicity: The preparation is not anticipated to pose any environmental hazard.
