Employees can use their dental plan at least twice a year and feel good about it thanks to you supporting their health and wellbeing. With our plans, employees can even add their partner and/or children. Easy access to care We don t just offer dental insurance; we also operate our own practices. With over 450 Bupa-owned practices nationwide, there s likely to be a practice close to home or work helping your team take less time out of the working day. 20% discount* on general dental treatment costs If your employees use a participating dentist in the Bupa Dental Insurance Network, they will get a 20% discount on general dental treatment costs, helping them make the most of their benefit limits. *You must inform the dentist you have Bupa dental insurance and provide your membership number prior to your appointment to benefit from this offer. What makes our cover different? Settling claims there and then When your employees visit selected Bupa-owned practices within our dental insurance network, we don t expect them to pay up front and then claim back the cost of their treatment. Instead, we take care of the claim there and then. We call it direct settlement, and it means that as long as the treatment is covered under the policy, in most cases your employees won t need to get their wallet out. This will be rolled out across our dental centres from September 2018. Orthodontic, emergency and oral cancer treatment cannot be claimed for in this way in the UK. Does not apply to NHS treatment in Northern Ireland and Scotland. Focusing on preventative care Insight tells us that preventative benefits like routine examinations, scale and polish and X-rays get used the most (they make up almost two-thirds of claims), so we have generous benefit limits in this area. We also guarantee that if employees with Dental Plan Level 3 or 4 come to selected practices in our Bupa Dental Insurance Network for preventative treatment that is within their usage levels, there will be no unexpected costs for them to pay. Preventative treatments covered are routine examinations, 30 minute scale and polish and small X-rays. Supporting your employees when it matters most Serious injury or illness can be hugely stressful. The last thing we want is for your employees to have to worry whether they are covered. That s why we provide our most comprehensive support in these areas. We offer comprehensive dental injury and worldwide emergency dental cover. After a waiting period of six months, there are no financial or time limits on our cover for oral cancer. No forms, no fuss claiming and our Preventative Care Promise are not available in all Bupa-owned dental centres and will be available at participating centres from September 2018. Prevention is better for business Insight tells us that almost two-thirds of claims are for preventative benefits like routine examinations and small X-rays, so Bupa Dental Plan offers generous benefit limits in this area. In fact, with Levels 3 and 4 of Dental Plan, in nominated Bupa practices in the Bupa Dental Insurance Network, your employees can access preventative treatment and rest assured that they will not face any unexpected bills as their preventative treatment will be covered in full when used in line with product usage limits. In conjunction with no forms, no fuss claiming, this means your employees never have to pay for preventative treatments in selected dental practices. Preventative costs covered

Employees have their treatment and we will settle the claim there and then as long as they visit a Bupa-owned dental practice where no forms, no fuss claiming is available.
