Subcommittee Reports: RCM Report: No Electronic report received Public Relations Report Public Relations Meeting Minutes Date/Time/Location: 1/13/2019 @ Streams In The Desert Chairperson: Mariel M Secretary: Mariel M (Acting Secretary) People in attendance: Desiree V, Paul R, Kathleen B, Juan L, Mariel M Old Business/Past Events: We have open service positions: Secretary Juan and Paul are continuing to work on a list for our literature racks to be placed in community spaces Mariel emailed TPD and TUSD to introduce Narcotics Anonymous and offer any supplemental info New Business/Upcoming Events: Desiree V has stepped up as our new Vice Chair No new events on the radar Mariel made contact with CODAC MAT Clinic and we will now be placing a literature rack in their lobby and giving a brief presentation at their new patient orientation monthly. Plans for PR Learning Days were discussed and both PR and H&I agreed that we would be holding a All Subcommittee Learning Day just as we did the year before. Mt. Lemmon Bash Report: Hello all, Over the last month the MLB committee has filled all positions with the exception of the auction chair. This position has a 2- year clean time requirement. Please announce at meetings that we are looking to fill this position. Please announce at meetings that Mount Lemmon Bash is having its annual logo contest and we need submissions!! The logo goes on the shirts we sell so get creative and submit your idea! No limit per person for logo submissions and the winner gets a free MLB t-shirt!! The logo contest and potluck fundraiser is going to be held at streams in the desert on February 2nd from 1 to 5 PM. We will be having a cornhole tournament at 1:30, food at 2:30, chicken, beans, and dogs, please bring a side dish or desert if you can, logo contest winner announced at 3:30, and a speaker meeting at 4 p.m. There is a $5 suggested donation, no one will be turned away!!! Flyers have been handed out, if any GSR's didn't receive one please let me know! The next Mount Lemmon Bash Committee meeting is going to be on February 10th at 10 a.m. at casa de Connors. Best, Marquie Literature Report: SEAZNA Area Literature Report Reporting for 2-10-2019 In January, the literature sales to Area GSR s was $1,723.51, of which $40.70 was paid by money order. Again, I want to encourage all Area GSR s if at all possible, to please pay with a money order and large bills. It really makes it easier for everyone. $2,514.77 was spent to re-stock the area literature inventory, including $698.25 to support H & I literature. Activities Report: CORRECTION TO ACTIVITIES REPORT JANUARY 13, 2019 (JANUARY 24, 2019) GSR S PLEASE READ AT YOUR MEETING The Holiday Marathon, KEEPING THE LIGHTS ON and The New Years Eve Bash, STEPPING CLEAN INTO 2019, were both huge successes. The Holiday Marathon had over 100 in attendance and New Years Eve Bash, had 200 in attendance and both events collected $813.27with a profit of $154.97. Congratulations to Desirae F. for winning the SEAZNAC registration and 2 nights of entertainment. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO KATHLEEN L., SARA MAC AND TRASH FOR THE EXCELLENT JOB THEY DID ON BOTH OF THESE EVENTS! THEY REALLY STEPPED UP AND MADE THIS HAPPEN. ANOTHR SHOUT OUT TO ALL THOSE WHO STEPPED UP AND VOLUNTEERED THEIR TIME. Whether it was taking a time slot, setting up to tearing down to everything in between, without you, we would have been lost. Most of the shifts have coverage, but we can always use a volunteer from 10pm-8am on a few nights, and if your interested and want to be of service feel free to call me.
