ABOUT TRILLIAN TRUST FUNFEST Funfest Charitable Trust was formed in 2002 with the sole purpose of creating a free event for the families of Auckland. Our focus was to bring families and communities together in a positive environment. We ve successfully created a fun safe space for families to enjoy every year. Thousands of families have grown up with Funfest. Our event has grown to an audience of over 30,000 people annually from all over the country and all ages. We are the only annual Auckland summer event with free entry, free parking, free rides and free prizes. There is simply no other event that compares with Trillian Trust Funfest in terms of attractions, scale and social responsibility. Our event now includes an invitational day for children with special needs and their families. We ve also added the Funfest Family Expo promoting a range of products and services that encourage family well-being, health, education and careers. Trillian Trust Funfest promotes positive relationships throughout families and communities. ABOUT OUR MAJOR FUNDER Funfest is funded by Trillian Trust. Trillian Trust was formed to provide support to other New Zealand based charitable and not-forprofit organisations through grants for specific purposes that benefit the community. For more information on the trust visit www.trillian.co.nz LIFE EDUCATION TRUST The Funfest Chartiable trust supports Life Education Trust Counties Manukau. Life Education has been educating and empowering kids for over 30 years in New Zealand. Each year Life Education Counties Manukau fosters a space for over 38,000 children to learn and explore key issues around health and nutrition, the human body, puberty, how to be a good friend and good and bad substances. Proceeds from fundraising activity go directly to the the trust for their special projects.

FUNFEST V.I.P DAY ABOUT THIS DAY Trillian Trust Funfest attracts an average annual audience of over 30,000 people across 4 days. The large numbers make it almost impossible for children with special needs and their families to enjoy the event. We created a day where children with special needs and their families could enjoy Trillian Trust Funfest without the huge crowds. This invitation only V.I.P day is held one day before Funfest opens to the public. We reach out to over 30 community organisations to help us identify children and families most in need, deserving. These included Cure Kids, IHC, Child Cancer, Child Youth and Family, Ronald McDonald house, Kidney Kids and Starship Foundation. Over 2,000 children with special needs and their families accept our invitation each year. Our guests enjoy Funfest by themselves before we open to the public. We were also able to supply free food and drink for our guests thanks to a group of sponsors. I would love for you to do this again, I would love for today not to be a once in a life time event. Not having to wait in long queues for rides was a treat, and my youngest surprised himself by going on the scary rides and enjoying them!
