TRAINING Cagliari, December 1 A scientific conference on "Eradication of African swine fever in Sardinia: technical aspects and strategies." was held in Cagliari the first of December. The conference was attended by the international expert on swine pests, prof. Jose Manuel Sanchez Vizcaino, representatives of the European Commission (Dr. Alberto Laddomada), the Italian Ministry of Health (Dr. Gaetana Ferri) the Region of Sardinia (Dr Donatela Campus), the National Reference Centre for swine pests (Dr. Francesco Feliziani) and the local official Vets ASL.
