Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Allies (LGBTQA) Research Team- This team is collaborating with community partners on conducting a comprehensive needs assessment (support, treatment needs, training needs) for the trans community in Memphis. The team is in the finishing stages of several projects such as the impact of non-disclosure of same-sex activity and HIV+ status on psychological distress and the stigma, career issues for trans* individuals, and barriers related to mentoring across cohorts in the gay community.
