Family Mediation Canada / Médiation Familiale Canada Membership Application Family Mediation Canada is an interdisciplinary association of professionals, working together, creating a better way to provide for co-operative conflict resolution relating to families. FMC was established in 1985 as a charitable, not-for-profit association. We help families succeed by providing referrals to Consumers and information to Family Mediators and other like-minded organizations across Canada. Family Mediation in times of conflict can dramatically reduce the human and financial cost of conflict resolution. Contact us today for more information. Our Mission: Family Mediation Canada (FMC) is a national organization dedicated to the promotion of mediation and other forms of conflict resolution for individuals, families, workplaces and communities. ABOUT FMC MEMBERSHIP: FMC and your provincial/territorial association are a part of a network of interdisciplinary professionals made up of private and court connected mediators, lawyers, social workers, judges, human services, health care professionals, clergy, and students. Nova Scotia Individual Membership Dues - $145.00 ($125 for Individual Membership with FMC and $20 for NS Provincial Dues) Prince Edward Island Individual Membership Dues - $150.00 ($125 for Individual Membership with FMC and $25 for PE Provincial Dues) Student Membership - $25.00 (All students are required to be enrolled in at least three courses and are required to provide proof of enrollment) Supporting Membership - $50.00 (This membership category is defined as individuals who no longer practice mediation as well as institutions and libraries who support the works of mediation.
