CAROL LUSIDIA MORROW

CAROL LUSIDIA MORROW As a child, Carol Lusidia Morrow was always fascinated by the CEN TURY 21 agent who would can vas her neighborhood. Even at a young age, she knew she wanted to wear the prestigious yellow blazer someday as a real estate professional. As soon as she turned 18, Carol took the first steps to achieve her dream only to discover it wasn t the right time in her life to pursue that career. At 18, I was a wife and a new mom. There was no way I could commit that amount of time to it, so I went to college to study interior design and worked as an interior designer for several years. But I always had

real estate in the back of my mind, knowing that I would pursue it one day, Carol says. That one day finally came in 2004, when her children were then teenagers and she had more time to devote to a new career. It was the perfect time for me to get licensed, she says. I fulfilled my dream and here I am! Today, Carol proudly represents CENTURY 21 Award, serving neighborhoods and communities all over San Diego county, and she couldn t be happier. Always at the forefront of the industry, Carol credits much of her success to several key aspects. The market changes constantly, so you have to be able to adjust to it and stay relevant. I m always innovative and creative in identifying ways to do that, says Carol.

In addition, she stresses the importance of educating her clients so they re equipped to make the best decisions, and utilizing the latest technology and tools that will help her get the best results in each transaction. Staying in communication with my clients is important, sending video messages rather than email is more personal. Marketing is another area in which Carol excels in, routinely coming up with unique strategies to show off her clients properties. I have customized marketing campaigns for every client as each one is uniquely different. I like to implement a lot of social media so I can really cater to their needs. The tools and systems I have in place are the foundation of my business, says Carol. For her industry excellence, Carol has held the Centurion award, is winner of the Five Star Real Estate Agents award for 2015 and 2016, and has even been featured on TLC s hit show, My First Home. However, her greatest reward comes from helping her clients achieve their goals. Not all transactions are smooth, so I guide them through the process and negotiate to the best of my ability to get them the best deal. When I see the look of joy on their face when it s all said and done that s priceless to me, says Carol. My clients put their trust in me because they know I went over and beyond the scope of my job. They know I was bold and honest and didn t just tell them what they wanted to hear. That s what means the most to me.

Always seeking to build and serve her community, Carol supports several charitable causes such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the local food bank, and serves on the PTA at her granddaughters elementary school. I do whatever I can out in the community to help people, especially the children, Carol says. As a preferred REALTOR with USAA and Navy Federal Credit Union, Carol enjoys working with the military community as a Certified Relocation Specialist. In the future, she anticipates working with more clients from all over the world. There is an abundance of international clients coming to the United States seeking real estate and I am proud to be a part of that, says Carol. Although she may not wear the famous yellow blazer, she still looks forward to many more years fulfilling the dream she had as a child.
