World No Tobacco Day Awards Two Special Director-General's Awards to AMOSAPU (Associação Moçambicana de Saúde Pública) - Mozambique Mr. Micheál Martin TD, Minister for Health and Children, Ireland for their leadership in Global Tobacco Control 2004, and in recognition of outstanding contribution to tobacco control
World No Tobacco Day Awards Another 32 World No Tobacco Day awards were offered to people and organizations from around the world, nominated by all 6 WHO regions. They received a certificate of appreciation in recognition of outstanding contribution to tobacco and especially to work relevant to tobacco and poverty during the year.
