Further topics will include categorisation, formation of concepts, inductive and deductive reasoning, and judging probability. The module will discuss Wason s famous selection task and its possible explanations. Further topics to be considered will include mental models, problem solving, heuristics, analogical thinking, and decision making. Next, the issue of domain specificity of thinking will be discussed. During the final part of the module the following topics will be addressed: causal thinking, culture and thinking, the relationship between language and reasoning, and the issue of human rationality.
