You and your organization are invited to participate in Phoenix Rotary 100 s Corporate Membership Program This membership program is designed to allow you and your organization one Active Membership and one Executive Membership in Phoenix Rotary 100. The Executive Membership is only for the CEO/ President or a senior executive of your organization. The Executive Member will not have attendance or other participation requirements, but will receive all of the privileges and opportunities of an Active Member. Who Qualifies? Founded in 1914, Phoenix Rotary 100 is part of the world-wide fellowship of Rotary International. Major community-conscious corporations and organizations operating in a worthy and recognized business or profession are qualified to become members. Both the organizations and the individuals who may become members must be of good character and business reputation. This membership differs in several ways from a typical Rotary membership: The annual dues cover both the Active and the Executive member; this membership always stays with your organization. If either the Active or the Executive member changes jobs, quits, or retires and it is necessary to replace either or both of them as Phoenix Rotary 100 members, there will be no additional initiation fee or dues assessed if the membership is filled within a six month period. What are the Costs? A one-time initiation fee is $1,000 and monthly dues of $75, with meal options ranging from $30 to $35 per lunch, which covers both the Active Member and the Executive Member. The Active Member will be subject to the normal requirements of membership. Current Phoenix Rotary 100 members who opt to change their membership to Corporate Membership status will be required to pay the balance of the $1,000 initiation fee (i.e. the increment above the previously paid initiation fee) and will be billed $75 at the next billing date.
Can others from the firm be members? Yes, a third member representing the organization will be charged the regular initiation fee of $275 and monthly dues of $15, with meal options ranging from $30 to $35 per lunch. This member must meet the normal criteria for admission and the normal obligations of attending meetings and participating on committees as an Active Member. Why should your organization be part of Phoenix Rotary 100? Phoenix Rotary 100 is one of the oldest, largest, and most active service clubs in America. We promote our Corporate Members as community-conscious citizens who practice Service Above Self. Each Corporate Member will be featured in our membership directory and mailings. The Active and Executive members will enjoy our weekly programs, which include national, regional, and local leaders in business, politics, science, the arts, law, medicine, education, social services, and other fields, who speak on matters of critical importance to your business and to the future of our local community. Experience tells us that many busy executives avoid membership in service clubs because of attendance requirements. There are no attendance requirements for the Executive Member. This special type of membership allows a community-conscious organization the opportunity to maintain its membership year after year. The Active and Executive member also will have access to the fellowship and business contacts of the 200 members of Phoenix Rotary 100, community outreach programs, and other opportunities, which include raising and donating hundreds of thousands of dollars of financial support, and many hours of in-kind support to worthy charities like the following: We also sponsor Rotary s International Ambassadorial Scholarships, International Youth Exchange Programs, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, a high school speech contest for the young people of Arizona, and many other worthy programs, such as: Arizonans for Children Assistance League Camp Broadway Dictionaries to School Children Field of Dreams at Arthur Hamilton Field of Dreams at Isaac Fighting Prejudice-Presentations by Seniors Florence Crittenton Center Foundation for Blind Children Foundation for Burns and Trauma Gift of Life AZ Goodwill Industries Grand Canyon Council Boy Scouts of America Feed My Starving children Junior Achievement Mission of Mercy Rebuilding Together Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona Teen Lifeline Salvation Army Shelter Box USA UMOM New Day Centers United Blood Services Valley of the Sun YMCA Valley Youth Leadership Wellness Community
