EMERGENCY OVERVIEW WARNING!! Combustible liquid. Harmful if inhaled. May cause eye, skin and respiratory tract irritation. May be absorbed through the skin in harmful amounts. Inhalation of vapors or mists may cause respiratory irritation, headache, nausea, vomiting. May cause skin or respiratory sensitization (allergic reaction). May be harmful if swallowed. Individuals with asthma or sensitivity to isocyanates should avoid exposure to this product. Reacts with common materials including water and alcohols releasing large amounts of carbon dioxide which can be dangerous in confined areas. This product is one part of a two part product. Read and understand the hazardous information on the MSDS for Part B before using this product. Page 1 of 7

HEALTH HAZARDS: INHALATION: Harmful if inhaled. Inhalation of vapors may cause respiratory tract irritation, shortness of breath, wheezing, headache and nausea. May cause respiratory tract sensitization. May cause serious allergic reaction in individuals sensitized to isocyanates. SKIN CONTACT: May cause irritation with reddening of the skin. May be absorbed through the skin cause systemic poisoning. May cause skin sensitization (allergic reaction). Skin contact may cause allergic respiratory reactions in sensitized individuals. EYE CONTACT: May cause irritation with redness, tearing and stinging. INGESTION: Swallowing may cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and headache. CHRONIC EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: Asthmatic sensitization can occur from a single or repeated exposures. Symptoms include shortness of breath, labored breathing, wheezing, coughing and a sense of constriction in the chest. MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: Individuals with chronic respiratory, eye or skin diseases may be at increased risk from exposure to this material. SECTION 4 FIRST AID MEASURERS EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes while lifting the upper and lower lids. Get medical attention. SKIN CONTACT: Immediately wash skin with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and launder before reuse. Clean contaminated shoes. Get medical attention if symptoms develop. INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If breathing has stopped give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult have qualified personnel administer oxygen. Get immediate medical attention. INGESTION: If conscious, wash mouth out with water. DO NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to a person who is unconscious or convulsing. Get immediate medical attention. SECTION 5 FIRE FIGHTENING MEASURES FLASH POINT: 176 F (80 C) METHOD: N/A FLAMMABLE LIMITS: (vol % in air) LEL: 1.7% (butyl acetate) UEL: 7.6% (butyl acetate) AUTOIGNITION TEMPERATURE: Not established EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Use foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide. SPECIAL FIREFIGHTING PROCEDURES: Firefighters should wear full emergency equipment and NIOSH approved positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus. Cool exposed intact containers with water. UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: Product will burn under fire conditions. Vapors are heavier than air and will travel along surfaces to remote ignition sources and flash back. Reacts with water releasing large amounts of carbon dioxide which may cause pressure build-up in confined spaces. Page 2 of 7

SECTION 6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: Evacuate spill area and keep unprotected personnel away. Remove all sources of ignition. Ventilate area with explosion proof equipment. Wear appropriate protective clothing as described in Section 8. Contain and collect using inert absorbent materials and place in appropriate containers for disposal. Use non-sparking tools and equipment. Clean up spill with a decontamination solution made up of 50% isopropanol. 45% water and 5% ammonia. Cover the area for at least one hour. Collect washings for disposal. Do not flush spill to sewer! Report releases as required by local, state and federal authorities. SECTION 7 HANDLING And STORAGE PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING: Store in a cool, well ventilated area away from ignition sources and other incompatible materials. Store only in original container. Keep containers tightly closed until ready for use. Store, transfer or handle under a blanket of nitrogen. Avoid contact with water and excess humidity. Avoid contact with eye, skin or clothing. Do not breathe vapors or mists. Do not ingest. Wash hand thoroughly after use. Use only with adequate ventilation. OTHER PRECAUTIONS: Empty containers retain product residues. Follow all MSDS precautions in handling empty containers. SECTION 8 EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION Exposure Guidelines: INGREDIENTS CAS#. RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: If exposure limits are exceeded, a NIOSH approved full face piece organic vapor or supplied air respirator appropriate for the form and concentration of the contaminants should be used. A cartridge change out schedule is required for air purifying cartridge respirator. Selection of respiratory protection depends on the contaminant type, form and concentration. Select in accordance with OSHA 1910.134 and good Industrial Hygiene practice. VENTILATION: If exposure limits are exceeded mechanical ventilation such as local exhaust may be required. GLOVES: Nitrile, butyl rubber or other impervious gloves are recommended. PROTECTIVE CLOTHING: Impervious apron, boots and other clothing are recommended if needed to prevent contact or if splashing is possible. EYE PROTECTION: Chemical safety goggles should be worn if contact is possible. OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: For operations where contact can occur, a safety shower and an eye wash facility should be available.
