NOOR ALI AL-KHATHLAN PERSONAL INFORMATION Mobile: +966504996480 Date of birth: March 27, 1982 E- mail: Nour1402@yahoo.com Nationality: Saudi Address: House 35, 14B Street, Dammam 31434, P.O. Box 14502, KSA EDUCATION Oct. 2010- Jul. 2015 University of Leicester, UK PhD in Respiratory Science (Paediatric Pulmonary Function Testing), College of Medicine, Biological Sciences and Psychology The broad aim of my project is to obtain annual follow-up lung function measurements including multiple-breath nitrogen washout (MBNW) from school-age children with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and one-set hyperpolarized helium three magnetic resonance ( 3 HeMRI) data in order to determine whether; LCI has a potential value as a discriminating factor of disease progression. The predominant mechanism for ventilation inhomogeneity in school-age children with CF is related to the convection dependent inhomogeneity (CDI or S cond ), or to the diffusion convection dependent inhomogeneity (DCDI or S acin ) and whether this different compared to children with asthma. The peripheral lung morphology measured by 3 HeMRI in children with CF differs from healthy subjects. 2008-2010 Cardiff University, UK MSc in HealthCare Science, School of Healthcare Studies Modules are: Research Methods in Health and Social Care, Qualitative Research Methods, Experimental Methods and Data Analysis, Cardio-Respiratory Physiology and Pathophysiology, Cardio-Respiratory Physiotherapy, Learning and Teaching in the Workplace. 1
