Left to right: Carol Sanders, Fundraising Chair and sponsor for Tanya s visit, Tanya Gillespie of Taylor s Place, Delana Horn/Membership Chair, Debbie Baldauf/President, Kathy Gonzalez/Communications Chair, and Kathy Kellas/Hospitality Beaumont Aggie Moms Welcome Tanya Gillespie from Taylor s Place At our February meeting, we learned the heartbreaking story of how Taylor s Place came to be and the heartwarming story of how it has been a source of comfort, community, and support to many Aggies since it s opening. Tanya and her husband TJ opened their home in College Station after the tragic death of their son, Taylor in 2011. They accommodate Aggie families in need, open their home to student gatherings, and also provide a home cooked meal and a place to hang out for students To learn more and/or donate to this worthy cause, go to Taylorsplace.org or Taylorsplacetexas.org.
