Dear Brothers and Co-workers, The Governor As we look forward to the end of winter and the beginning of spring this month, I encourage everyone to come out to the lodge for dinner on Friday or Saturday nights. It will help to get rid of all those winter cobwebs. Let s begin to enjoy the warmer weather that is on the way. If you haven t dined with us in some time, you are really missing out. Chef Liz has been doing a wonderful job feeding us since she arrived last fall. This is also an excellent opportunity to invite some friends and family to the lodge. Show them what the Moose is all about and have a good meal and a good time. Hopefully, they will like what they see and join the Lodge and/or Chapter and help us to continue the great work that the Moose does in the community. Speaking of helping the community, the Lodge is starting a community service project to help homeless men in our community. We are asking all our brothers to contribute toiletry kit(s) that can be distributed at homeless shelters. Fill the kits with travel-size toothpaste and toothbrush, shaving cream and disposable razor(s), mouthwash, deodorant etc. Bring your filled toiletry kit(s) to the lodge meeting on April 2 nd, or place it in the box that will be on the front table as you enter the Lodge. Also, we will be sending out a letter in regards to the car-less car wash that the Lodge is holding. Please help support this fundraiser. In accordance with the General Laws of the fraternity, the first Lodge meeting in April (April 2 nd ) is when annual elections will be held. This is a very important meeting as you, the members, have the chance to decide who will lead your lodge for the upcoming year. Please make every effort to attend this very important Lodge meeting. If any brother is interested in being the Administrator for the Lodge, please contact me or any Lodge officer. Finally, our fabulous co-workers in the Chapter have a lot of activities planned for everyone s enjoyment. They have their monthly breakfast, come out and enjoy the breakfast buffet. Check out all the other activities that they have planned for the spring. Fraternally yours, Joe Rudner Governor governorloom1539@gmail.com W.O.T.M. Spring is just around the corner. Time for everything to start growing and blooming again. I hope all members will keep bringing in people to join and keep the Moose growing also. The more members there are, the better to help Mooseheart, Moosehaven and the Lodge. Remember, the WOTM always have a wonderful fundraiser basket on the front table. Check it out! We are taking orders for the WOTM Chapter polo shirts. Please contact Nancy Ehly (215-257-9080). The March breakfast is on the 11 th from 9-12. Our St. Patrick s Dance is on March 17 th from 8-11 PM. The Fitzpatrick School of Dancers will also be here to do another wonderful performance. The children s Easter Party is on Sunday March 25 th from 2-4 PM. For kids 0-10. The sign-up sheet will be on the front table. Lots of candy, games, and prizes. The Easter Bunny will also hop in to say Hello. March 26 th is the election of officers at 6:00 PM. The spring bake sale is on March 30 th. Lots of great yummy goodies. We are having a special trivia that night with our Blair. It starts at 8:00 PM. The April breakfast is on Sunday April 8 th, 9-12. Contact Nancy Ehly for membership renewal or change of address (215-257-9080). Contact Deb Croll about any illnesses or deaths (Home: 215-256-8052 or Cell: 264-346-8020). Thank you all so much. Fraternally yours, Susan L. Wismer Senior Regent WOTM Breakfast 2 nd Sunday of the month Adults - $8.00, Kids (5-10) - $4.00, children under 5 free Featuring: Omelets made to order, Scrambled Eggs, French Toast, Creamed Dried Beef, Bacon, Sausage, Home Fries, Baked Goods, Coffee, Tea & much more! 9 AM until Noon

From the desk of the Administrator It is hard to believe how fast the time passes. It was only yesterday that the new year started. The month of March has Saint Patrick s Day, the beginning of spring, daylight savings time, Lent, and don t forget the Kid s Easter Egg Hunt. Please respect the dates we have posted for signing the kids up. Trivia will be March 16 th, with Blair and March 30 th sponsored by the WOTM. April brings us Easter and election of the officers for next year. Anyone interested in serving on the board needs to make it known to any of the present officers. The Nominating Committee will meet and present the ballot to the lodge on April 2 nd, 2018. The new officers, for both the men and the women, will be installed in April. Everyone is aware that we have had problems in our kitchen. I am happy to say those problems seem to be behind us and the meals being prepared are bringing people back to the lodge. When the food is good the lodge prospers. If each of you would visit Mooseheart, you would understand what we are all about. You would see where our dues money is being spent. It is a beautiful campus where our children are given a chance to flourish. I would like to welcome our new members who have joined us in the last two months, and to the dedicated members that come in the lodge on a daily and weekly basis, I say Thank you.
