I am healthy and deserve the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. I am healthy and deserve the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. My body is a valuable temple for my soul and so I treat it with the utmost respect. Taking care of my body has allowed me to enjoy my life to the fullest. To keep myself hydrated, I drink plenty of water during the day. I eat a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables. To prevent toxins from entering my system, I prefer to eat organic foods. My diet is made complete by the rich vitamins and minerals that I take. I control my urges, doing all things in moderation. I stay away from harmful drugs. Addictions are powerless against me. I take charge of my health because I want to have a long life to share with my loved ones. My life reflects my hard work. I enjoy my active lifestyle, free from aches and pains, because I take care of my body. I am able to play with my children without worrying about my health. I can exercise without getting out of breath because my heart is healthy. Generational diseases in my family are minimized because I have taken the initiative to guard my body. When it comes to caring for my health I am on the offensive. I do not wait until something happens before I actively defend my health. As a result of my lifestyle choices, I have the freedom to do more. I deserve the benefits of a healthy lifestyle because I work hard to maintain supreme health. Exercise releases endorphins into my brain that act as antidepressants, making me feel happier. And so, I am constantly in a good mood. Being healthy allows me to enjoy fulfilling relationships and produce quality work. I am a better person because I take care of my body. 1. How do I take care of my body? 2. I enjoy breathing effortlessly and deeply. I enjoy breathing effortlessly and deeply. Breathing is my way of dispersing serenity through my body. In order to relax, I take slow, deep breaths. I inhale gradually, allowing my lungs to be filled with air. When I exhale, I take my time controlling my breath so it exits my body at a steady pace. I pause and listen to the air flowing in and out of my body. I avoid short, shallow breaths that end in my chest. Instead, when I breathe, I make sure to breathe deeply. Concentrating on every breath, I envision a powerful cleansing force circulating through my body. I breathe in power and blow out stress. When I am frazzled, I take a breathing break to clear my mind, re-focus, and free my body from stress. 1. What exercises can I do to increase the depth of my breaths? 2. What life changes can I make to strengthen my respiratory system? 3. Do I consciously avoid pollutants? In the morning, when I go outdoors, I breathe in the freshness of the morning dew. Cleansing my body with fresh air helps me start my day off right. I enjoy breathing air free from pollutants. My life is free from the effects of smoking. I do not smoke and I stay away from smoky places in order to protect my lungs. As a result, I breathe with ease. On days when my schedule keeps me going at a fast pace, breathing helps me to be more productive and energized. Sending oxygen to my brain maximizes my brainpower.
I free myself from dependency on cigarettes. I free myself from dependency on cigarettes. I can let go of my desire for cigarettes. My life plan leaves cigarettes out of the picture because I know I am stronger than my current need for them. I realize that I pull out a cigarette to help me cope with stressful situations. In uncomfortable situations, smoking is an accessory to help ease my tension, yet I am certain that my body can do without a cigarette to cope with stress. There are dozens of other forms of stress relief that, unlike cigarettes, are healthy and productive. Not only does smoking put my health at risk, but it also makes it increasingly difficult to perform everyday activities, such as running, jogging, and walking up a flight of stairs. I am beginning to feel the health effects now, and I know they become progressively worse with age. Undoubtedly, smoking causes my health to take a hit. But, it also affects my wallet. Life and health insurance costs more for smokers. And the cost of a pack of cigarettes is on the rise. Surely, I can put that money to better use. Today, I choose to break away from my dependency on cigarettes once and for all. I love life too much to risk it all for an unhealthy habit I can do without. 1. Do I smoke to help me cope with uncomfortable situations? 2. When did I begin to smoke and why? 3. What am I going to do, today, to kick the habit? Furthermore, I am also putting my family at risk for secondhand smoke. I realize that I would feel terrible if my children or spouse developed medical complications due to my smoking habit.

I see the value in myself as a human being. I see the inner and outer beauty that I possess. I am a unique and precious creation to be treasured. Physically, I am strong and healthy. I know that I am beautiful and there is no one else like me. It is wonderful to be such a unique creation! Mentally, I have everything I need to succeed. I am smart, friendly, alert, and receptive. I use my intelligence well to help myself and others move forward with their goals and dreams. My mind and body radiate happiness and joy. I feel at peace and know I can succeed at my dreams. I have the strength to make them real. Today, I accept and appreciate the strength and beauty of my body and mind. 1. How can I learn to better appreciate all that my body and mind has to offer? 2.
