My intention to join the EACVI board is to serve the Echocardiography community by increasing the Links between the EACVI and the Middle East- North Africa (MENA) regions. I am from Lebanon, French educated and fluent in Arabic and English, this will be an opportunity for me to bring our colleagues from the MENA regions to participate actively in the EACVI activities and meetings. Echocardiography is my passion and hope to transmit this passion to our young colleagues by creating new educational tools and motivate them to participate to the EACVI s activities. The best way to do it is to go where they are. The members of the EACVI board should be present in the national societies meetings in order to present the EACVI activities and educational tools, in my opinion it s the best way to increase the EACVI members and to make it the best echocardiography association in the world.
