Medical plans Peak Care is an exclusive provider organization (EPO) plan designed for Pierce County-based employers. An EPO is a hybrid health plan in which a primary care provider referral is not required when seeking specialty care, but care must be provided within network. With an EPO plan, your employees receive care at a lower cost of coverage versus other plan types. Peak Care plans provide your employees with a smooth healthcare experience, allowing them to focus on their health. 4
