In our chapter, as established in our bylaws, we have elections every 3 years and the maximum time to be part of the Board is 6 years. Every three years the chapter associates are called to new elections, which means that all the associates can submit candidatures for the Board that once in the assembly must vote to decide the new Board. In case there are no new candidates, new members are presented to the board to replace those that have left the Board for personal or professional reasons or those members who have remained the maximum of 6 years. It is voted in the assembly on the acceptance or not of the new members. One of the activities that we are going to review in our Strategic Plan that we are working on now is the process of choosing the Board. We are in the process of elaborating our Strategic Plan where one of the objectives is What steps did the Chapter take to retain and recruit new members in the past year? What benefits did the Chapter offer to the members? Did the Chapter have any groups formed within the Chapter? How did your Chapter engage members in its activities in the past year? this one and also to try to attract students to the chapter. Maintain frequent contact (via email or social media) with our associates, sending information about seminars or courses that are conducted from the chapter or from ISPOR. Try to organize activities on topics of great interest and relevance to them. Use the media to expand the information on the activities and advantages of belonging to the chapter, taking into account that we do not charge a fee, to encourage the incorporation of new members. Currently at no cost, they are informed about all the activities that made by the chapter or by ISPOR and also have a discount for being members of the chapter in them. Organized in collaboration with ISPOR Spain Chapter: On the 29th of vember of 2018 was held in Madrid, at the Escuela Nacional de Sanidad (Instituto de Salud Carlos III) the V Research Workshop on economic evaluation organized by the interest group in the Economic Evaluation of AES (EEconAES) in collaboration with ISPOR Spain Chapter 2 P age

The cooperation between the three entities has driven a large participation, which was expressed in the sending of twelve communications from which six were finally selected. The group EEconAES aspires to become a collaborative forum for sharing knowledge of the researchers dedicated to the economic evaluation in Spain, regardless of whether the institution is a university, healthcare management technology assessment, or consulting firm. It is not intended to compete with the training programs already existing, but to complete them to help the researchers to know the existing tools, their specific applications and how to solve the problems of its integration in a specific study. We try to avoid the experience that we have lived as experienced researchers where we have shaped basically self-taught. The Workshop aims to serve as a venue for discussion of methodological aspects related with the economic evaluation based on the presentation of work in progress. It has been the first joint activity between the ISPOR Spain Chapter and AES (Spanish Association of Health Economics). We organize an activity together with AES (Spanish Association of Health Economics) with the intention to establish a collaboration agreement during 2019. During our activities we always try to invite as speakers national or regional payers or at least we invite them a assistant (see REPORT ISPOR SPAIN CHAPTER 2018) Did the Chapter engage with students in your region in the past year?
