In many cases menstruation is still a topic surrounded by myths and taboos, and many girls lack proper knowledge of the changes their bodies experience during puberty. GIRL TALK! Tells the story of Sandra as she reaches her first menstrual period. The booklet is a valuable resource for primary and secondary girls to learn about what is happening to their changing bodies in an engaging, accessible and FUN manner! MHM Curriculum Empowering girls to manage their periods with confidence can only be achieved by building their knowledge on menstruation. In collaboration with WoMena we have developed a MHM curriculum designed to give you the tools to host workshops for your beneficiaries and break the silence on menstruation. Our basic version is available for free to all of our partners, and for a fee we can offer an in-depth workshop for your trainers. For more information, please contact us at info@afripads.com. MHM Data Collection AFRIpads teamed up with Echo Mobile to offer partners an easy to use mobile application that simplifies and accelerates the M&E process for interventions with AFRIpads. A combination of standardized surveys and customizable questionnaires will allow you to quickly collect end-user feedback, which is automatically generated into a report. The comic is available for free to all our partners and has been translated into different languages to fit the local context.
