Our Programs Children s Connection Coordinates public and private resources to identify, investigate and treat children suffering from sexual and severe physical abuse and their families. We are a fully accredited Children s Advocacy Center (CAC). Dr. Robert E. Appleby School Based Health Centers (SBHC s) Six SBHC s in Norwalk s middle schools and high schools provide medical and mental health services to all enrolled students regardless of their insured status. Healthy kids make better learners! Substance Abuse Prevention Our mission is to bring recognition and resources to address substance abuse and its effects through collaboration, education and awareness campaigns. Norwalk Mentor Program A mentor provides a safe, stable role model to many children who may have no one else. We currently have 268 mentor/mentee matches in the Norwalk Public Schools. Supportive Housing 40 South Main provides stable, safe, quality housing for individuals to advance and achieve independence who would otherwise be homeless or at-risk of homelessness. Ludlow Commons provides senior housing and congregate care to those 62 years of age and older.
