The cre activities f the rle are t: Prvide strategic directin and leadership f HammndCare s specialist palliative and supprtive care clinical, research and administrative staff, in cnjunctin with senir administrative staff in Health & Hspitals, Residential Care and HammndCare at Hme; Crdinate the develpment, implementatin, planning and management f an effective Clinical Stream in palliative and supprtive care acrss HammndCare, negtiating clinical service pririties within the service cnfiguratin, cnsistent with the allcated budget and actual financial perfrmance; Prvide leadership and change management supprt t members f HammndCare s palliative and supprtive care services, leading the develpment f new fully integrated mdels f palliative care and supprting relevant service initiatives arising as part f HammndCare s clinical redesign activities; Prvide and encurage specialist palliative and supprtive care f utstanding quality in inpatient, utpatient and day hspital multidisciplinary team care settings; Ensure develpment f educatinal prgrams, fr all categries f prfessinal and vcatinal educatin, which will supprt the full develpment f excellent palliative care services in all parts f HammndCare s peratins; Prvide liaisn with and advice, representing HammndCare as required, t gvernment departments, Lcal Health Districts and Learned Clleges staff, and give directin t medical clleagues and multidisciplinary team staff, in the develpment f HammndCare s palliative and supprtive care services, wherever lcated;

Supervises JMO staff in reviewing patients and cmpleting their recrds; Ensures recrds f patients under their care are accurate Ensures PCOC data is cllected and cllated n a regular basis; PCOC data is benchmarked with respect t palliative
