The Parents Loving Children Through Autism Foundation Newsletter A Message from the Founder and President Dear Families and Friends: Thank you so much to all who participated in our "Wings to Soar" Christmas Tree Project. The tree is now proudly displayed at the Mall at Steam T own at the opening of the food court. Stop by and see our beautiful children. If you would still like to purchase an ornament, the form is enclosed. I will be taking the tree down on January 2. Thank to the Rotary Club of Scranton for another successful auction. Thanks to all who made it a success by donating items, buying/selling tickets, and working the coin drop. Proceeds enable us to continue supporting 3 social groups a month. Please consider attending Raise Your Voice 3 at the Waverly Comm, 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., on December 9th. The students have been working very hard to bring about their message to Buzz Out Bullying. Next month I will enclose a wonderful information pamphlet they put together. Tickets will be on sale at the door. Great talent, snacks, and baskets will be available. Beginning January we will be going into full work mode for our Annual Walk. Enclosed is a letter from Liz Zaydon on how you can help us. If we all work together, we can make this walk the best yet. Our committee has been working since May to plan this event. T-shirt sponsors are due in February. If you know a business that would like to be on the shirt, please give them a sponsor form. All forms can be accessed through our website. Due to our Christmas Parties there will be no social groups for the month of December. We look forward to seeing you at the parties.
