Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service Home exercise programme Information for patients and carers
Introduction The North Somerset Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme offers two supervised exercise sessions for the duration of the programme (six weeks). In addition to this, and to achieve most benefit from the programme, participants are encouraged to perform one home exercise session per week. Preparation for exercise is important. Before each exercise circuit the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team will lead you through a warm up session and the exercise circuit will be followed by a cool down routine.
