Background noise and other problems with sound quality can lead to ailments such as tension headaches and general fatigue. They can also have social consequences: people with impaired hearing begin to avoid situations and environments they find overly demanding. These are often meetings and classrooms, as well as phone calls and other forms of social interaction that have a high value for quality of life and the sense of participation....to a world of opportunities The first encounter with Comfort Digisystem is therefore an emotional experience for most people. Suddenly the world is free of disturbing background noise, and the opportunities to participate significantly increase. Here some users recount how their lives have changed since they began using the Receiver DT10 and other Comfort Digisystem receivers. A much softer sound! It s a completely different sound experience. I have worn hearing aids since I was four and always use hearing products at classes. My new mini receiver makes the teacher s speech more comfortable to listen to. Those loud and sharp noises that sometimes got through with other hearing products simply aren t there anymore. So no more headache for me.
My colleagues wondered why I was not saying Excuse me? the whole day any more. When I tried the new mini receiver at work for the first time, it wasn t just me who experienced a positive effect. Speech was much clearer for me and it was suddenly easy to keep up with conversations. It was liberating to not have to ask colleagues to repeat themselves all the time. Phone calls! It was an incredible feeling to be able to talk on the phone for the first time in 20 years. I d given up all hope of ever being able to talk on the phone again. But Comfort Digisystem lets me understand without reading lips. The receiver with the neckloop works fine with my cochlear implants. The first time I heard my daughter s voice on the phone I couldn t help but cry. Now I can call her every week. Comfort Digisystem has really changed my life!
