CALL TO ORDER - WELCOME MEMBERS AND GUESTS: The March meeting was called to order at 7:03pm by President Scott Van Hoorne There were 23 members in attendance. NEW BUSINESS: Membership cards, rosters and by-laws were handed out to members in attendance again. If you were not at the meeting, you can be expecting it in the mail, sometime soon.. Thank you! MEETING MINUTES: Jay Robinson read the minutes from the previous meeting, and they were approved as read. TREASURER S REPORT: Mary Chevalier was not in attendance to give the Treasurer's report, but are pretty certain we still have money in the account. Meeting adjourned at 7:45pm NEXT BUSINESS MEETING: The next Business Meeting will be held May 5th, at Johnson's Corner - dinner at 6pm, meeting at 7pm. (NOTE: We need more members not only showing up for the meetings, but ordering food as well. We get the room for free, as long as we continue to order meals by the majority of members in attendance). OLD BUSINESS: Club Calendars were discussed again. The Club is going to make calendars that run from MAY to MAY. We now have enough pictures and stories to fill a calendar, possibly two! Thank you to all who submitted your info. They will go for $15 a piece, or 2 for $25. The annual Bowling Tournament was discussed, it was one of the largest turnouts we have had in recent memory, and a great time was had by all. Our Club won the tournament, for better or worse, and we retained the "coveted" trophy for another year. Jared's brother Jevon was nice enough to "store" it until next year. Www.ncgtoa.com Page #4

We have a lot of members, more than we have had in previous years, but as with all clubs, the Club is having a hard time getting members to get involved in the inner workings of the Club, participating in activities, as well as making it to Club business meetings. If April's business meeting is any sort of a measuring device, it seems that we are turning that corner. We had 23 members attend!! That is awesome! Now to get those members to start attending more Club functions, start volunteering to host activities, and generally to get more involved in anything to do with the Club. The Board has laid out a ton of great activities throughout the year that will be put in the Club calendar. This calendar is a product of a lot of hard work by the Club - not only to list activities month by month, or to showcase members rides, but to also be used as a fundraiser for the Club. The calendar will run May 2016 to April 2017, basically through the start of the car season to the start of the next season. There will be lots made, so think about contacting anyone you know that might like to purchase one. Www.ncgtoa.com Page #5

The Northern Colorado GTO Association was founded in 1984 with several objectives in mind. The primary objective is to HAVE FUN and to promote interest in the Pontiac GTO. With that in mind, we try to schedule at least one club event every month. These events may be car shows, picnics, club member attendance at car shows, sanctioned drag races, participation in charity events, Drive-In movie nights (Yes we still have a drive-in theater in Northern Colorado!) or any other event that involves people getting together to enjoy the fun of owning a true muscle car. DUES: $30.00 yearly for the entire household CLUB WEBSITE: www.ncgtoa.com Follow us on Facebook! Group name: Northern Colorado GTO Association (On electronic version of newsletter - control "click" to follow link for both website and Facebook site) The club business meetings are held the first Thursday of each Month Please see the minutes for the time and place of the next business meeting The Northern Colorado GTO Association is an affiliated chapter of the GTO Association of America, and we encourage all of our members to become members of the GTOAA. As an affiliated chapter of the GTOAA, your club is supplied with a $3,000,000 liability insurance policy. This covers both Officers and Members while conducting approved Chapter events. When you become a member of the GTOAA, you get a monthly publication of the Golden Quill award winning magazine, THE LEGEND. This is a 32 page monthly magazine that contains technical articles, stories about members GTO's, a large classified section and much more information. The GTOAA hosts an annual National Convention where GTO enthusiasts can come together and see the vast diversity within this great organization. From the Technical Seminars to the Concours Judging to the Activities and Popular Vote Car Show, there is no other single GTO event like a GTOAA National Convention. No other Pontiac organization or publication does more to bring together the issues, ideas, needs and wants of GTO enthusiasts worldwide. Technical experts for each of the production years are available through GTOAA to answer those difficult questions we all have encountered while working or restoring our GTO's. The annual dues to join the GTOAA are $35.00 and $5.00 for each additional family member. To become a member of the GTOAA online, you can visit www.gtoaa.org. To receive a membership by mail, write to GTOAA, PO Box 455, Timnath, CO 80547. You can contact Bill Vantuono at chapters@gtoaa.org for Local Chapter Information.
