Filling New Prescriptions: Switching to Enterprise Drugs This window appears because the drug selected was not a Enterprise Formulary drug It is recommended that a Enterprise Formulary drug be selected The drug interchangeable window displays the primary and secondary Enterprise Formulary selections 1. Fill a new prescription as usual until the Drug Interchangeables window appears. 2. Press or click to highlight the desired drug. The On Hand column displays how much inventory is currently in stock at the pharmacy 3. Press or click the Replace button. This will replace the original brand with the new highlighted brand Selecting the Continue button will continue processing with the original selected brand 2

Press or click the Fill button. 3
Filling New Prescriptions: Using a Non-Compliant Interchangeable Drug This window appears because the drug selected was not a Enterprise Formulary drug It is recommended that a Enterprise Formulary drug be selected The drug interchangeable window displays the primary and secondary Enterprise Formulary selections 1. Fill a new prescription as usual until Drug Interchangeables window appears. 2. Click the View Generics Only radio button. - This will display a list of all generic drugs 3. Press or click to highlight the replacment drug. The On Hand column helps to identify what brand to use based on how much inventory is in stock 4. Press or click the Replace button. Will replace the drug with the selected drug Selecting the Continue button will continue with the original brand selected 4

Press or click on the Reason drop-down arrow to select why the DIN is being used. 6. Type any comments in the Comments field. This field is optional, unless you select Pharmacist Professional Judgment as the Reason for non-compliance When Pharmacist Professional Judgment is selected as the Reason, the system atomically submits Pharmacist s Choice in the Production Selection dropdown in the Third Party tab. 7. Press or click on the Userdrop-down menu to select the individual that made the decision. 8. Press or click the OK button. 5
