A solid theoretical background, relevant to technical and clinical aspects of maxillofacial obturators, will also be provided. Provide students with basic knowledge about the internal maxillofacial science 2. Provide students with basic background about the general defects can be restored with maxillofacial prosthesis. Weights 20% 20% 3. Provide students with basic practical hand-on training in the various steps involved in the fabrication of the intra-oral prosthesis. 30% 4. Provide students with sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge about the various steps involved in fabrication of the different types of intra-oral obturators. 30% Teaching & Learning Methods Student is expected to attend 2 hours lecture to understand the intraoral maxillofacial science and attend three hours lab session during which a demonstration will be given for 30 minutes followed by individual supervised lab session
