Market Day Market Day will be held every month throughout the school year. Market Day can be ordered at any time throughout the school year by ordering on-line at www.marketday.com and connecting your order to John F. Kennedy School. Every month there are specials check the website for these specials. Orders can be shipped out-of-state or can be picked up at JFK on a monthly basis. Please look for the first pickup date! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to Box Tops 4 Education. Every person who signs up can make a huge impact. So, thank you for your efforts. Hope you saved Box Tops throughout the summer. Remember, they are on a multitude of items including paper towels, tissues, and plastic bags. Please keep your eye out for the Box Tops and clip and save them! Last year we received $799 from Box Tops 4 Education. This year our goal is nearly $1000. Currently, online, there are 85 people signed up to help JFK. Let s strive for 100 people this year. Last year, based on the amount of Box Tops we earned, we were ranked at #815 in NJ for earnings we dropped nearly 400 slots this year. Can we make it higher this year? Let s all do our part in helping. This is a simple way to raise money for JFK. If you shop on-line, consider using www.boxtops4education.com in order to access a variety of common stores and websites. Some stores included on this website are: -Crate & Barrel, Famous Footwear, Kohl s, Dell, Staples, and Best Buy, just to name a few. There are over 100 stores on-line, accessible through this website. -Barnes & Noble and Box Tops have teamed up to make it easy to earn cash for your school. Earn up to 6% of all qualified purchases by simply starting here and then shopping at America s #1 bookstore. Visit www.boxtops4education.com for more information. Won t you consider joining and helping JFK? Ask your friends and relatives to save them for you!!! 2

Enjoy the City This is one of JFK s biggest fundraiser. Please support the school. Enjoy the City is a coupon book for area restaurants, stores, and services. Enjoy the City will be sent home through your child s backpack. You will be required to either send in the payment for the coupon book or to return the book. The book must be returned in the original condition or else you will be asked to pay for the book. Thank you! Did you know that if you have a Target Charge Card or Debit Card, you could link the card to Target s Take Charge of Education program? If you link your card to JFK, we will receive a donation from Target based on the items you purchase. Some Target charge cards can be used anywhere. So, if you have one, please link it to JFK. Currently, we have 20 people linked to JFK. Let s strive to hit 25 this year! Class parents have been chosen. Class Parents will need to communicate with the parents via email. Please make sure your class parents have your email please provide it to them at Back to School Night. The Stop and Shop A+ Bonus Bucks program will begin again on October 7 and ends on March 29, 2012 that s over 5 months of food shopping. Have you re- registered your card with the program? Ask your family members to register also. If you registered your card last year, you have to reregister the card this year in order for JFK to benefit from your purchases. Our goal this year is to receive over $600 from this program. The best thing of all you don t have to do anything different just keep shopping at Stop and Shop with your registered bonus card.
