Next month, our very own Marilyn Patterson will be presenting us will a book review on Jen Hatmaker's "7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess". I know she will give a fun presentation! I have enjoyed being on the Board and getting to know more people, making friends and helping to shape our group as we grow. Each girl receives a goodie bag with diapers, prenatal vitamins, and socks for themselves. If you feel so inclined, donations of new ladies ankle socks or fuzzy socks for these gifts would be welcome. Bring them to any meeting and Yvonne Evans will deliver them.

WACO NEWBIES After going strong for over a year and a half, some of the "NEWBIES" aren't so "new" any more! That's good news! You don't have to be "new to Waco" to join this group. They generally meet @ 10 am on the (3rd) Thursday (day after the Wednesday N&N luncheon) at Panera's (Marketplace Mall) for coffee, visiting, and planning their next adventure. From Austin Street Downtown Waco TO Cameron Park Zoo and everything in between, they are having so much FUN discovering what Waco and the surrounding areas have to offer! US History for Dummies book will serve as the basic guide, so anyone interested will need to have a copy. We will supplement our knowledge of the subject through reports and any relevant material that members of the study group may provide. Movies, documentaries, and field trips will also be considered to enhance our understanding of US History. US History Study Group meets first Wednesday of every month from 10:30 to 11:30 am. at the Westview Library on Bosque. We welcome anyone interested in History to join the group.
