WELCOME NOTE Dear colleagues and friends, On behalf of the Lebanese Society of Nephrology and Hypertension organizing committee, we are pleased to welcome you and cordially invite you to join us at the 11th Annual Update Meeting in Nephrology and Hypertension. The meeting will be held in our beloved city, Beirut, at the Hilton Habtoor Hotel, October 19-21, 2017. This year, our Society is partnering as usual with the Société Francophone de Néphrologie, Dialyse et Transplantation as well as with the Jordan Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation and the Iraqi Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation. The meeting will also feature for the first time in Lebanon a KDIGO implementation session. It is an exciting and valuable program, focusing on several and current subjects in Nephrology, Hypertension and Transplantation. All these topics will be addressed by world-renowned speakers from Arab countries,, Germany, Belgium and USA. In parallel to the academic program, a scientific exhibit will take place.
