To avoid any burn reactions, foliar sprays should be done during cool times and the plants should not be stressed. Do not apply to crops that are wilted. GENERAL VERTE-X-PLODE improves fruit quality by stimulating sugar production. Use to support and boost fruit growth during fruit fill stages when requirement for nutrients is very high and uptake and supply from the soil is not sufficient. The nutrient benefits in VERTE-X-PLODE are: - Phosphates have a fundamental role in photosynthesis, releasing energy required to manufacture sugars, - Potassium is needed to transport the sugars from the leaves where they are produced, to developing fruits, - Micronutrients are essential to activate the reactions that produce sugars and proteins. Mineral uptake may be reduced during periods of high demand, as fewer sugars are made available for root growth. Foliar applications of VERTE-X-PLODE assist at this time by supplementing essential nutrients. PRECAUTIONS VERTE-X-PLODE is harmless to man, animals and fish. Store safely. Pollution of water sources should be avoided. Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. VERTE-X-PLODE contains dissolved salts, which can be corrosive to metals and therefore be stored in the original container. If it is spilled on metal surfaces, it should be washed off with water as soon as possible. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as directed. Agitate contents well before use. VERTE-X-PLODE is miscible with water and is recommended for use on a wide variety of crops. VERTE-X-PLODE is intended to supplement and not substitute normal fertilizer programmes. Foliar Feeding: Fertilizer burn is expected at a concentration of 4 % and higher. The maximum recommended application rate is 3 % (3 litres VERTE-X-PLODE in 100 litres water) unless otherwise specified. Plants should be sprayed to just before the point of runoff and applications can be repeated weekly or fortnightly. Foliar sprays should be applied during cool periods of the day and the plants should not be stressed, to avoid any burn reactions. Fertigation: Suitable for use in fertigation. Repeat application fortnightly during the growing season. COMPATIBILITY When mixing with other chemicals, first test compatibility of final mixing solutions. When applying VERTE-X-PLODE in combination with other chemicals to a crop for the first time, it is recommended that a small test area be sprayed and observed for burn prior to the total crop spray. ALGEMEEN VERTE-X-PLODE verbeter vrugkwaliteit deur die stimulering van suikerproduksie. Gebruik tydens vrugvulstadia om vruggroei te ondersteun en te verhoog, wanneer aanvraag na voedingselemente hoog is en verskaffing en opname uit die grond nie genoegsaam is nie. Die voedingsvoordele in VERTE-X-PLODE is: - Fosfate speel n fundamentele rol in die vrystelling van energie gedurende fotosintese wat benodig word vir die vervaardiging van suikers, - Kalium word benodig vir die vervoer van suikers vanaf die blare waar dit geproduseer word, na die ontwikkelende vrugte, - Mikro-elemente is noodsaaklik in die aktivering van reaksies betrokke by die produsering van suikers en proteiene. Tydens n tydperk van verhoogde aanvraag mag opname van minerale daal as gevolg van minder suiker wat beskikbaar gestel word vir wortelgroei. Toediening van VERTE-X-PLODE as blaarvoeding gedurende hierdie periode help om die noodsaaklike voedingstowwe aan te vul. VOORSORGMAATREËLS VERTE-X-PLODE is nie giftig vir mens, dier en visse nie. Berg veilig. Besoedeling van waterbronne moet vermy word. Hou buite bereik van kinders, oningeligde persone en diere. VERTE-X-PLODE bevat soute in oplossing wat metaal kan laat roes en moet in die oorspronklike houer gehou word. Indien dit met metaaloppervlaktes in aanraking kom, moet die metaal so gou moontlik afgespoel word met water. GEBRUIKSAANWYSINGS: Gebruik alleenlik soos aangedui. Meng inhoud goed voor gebruik. VERTE-X-PLODE is mengbaar met water en kan op n wye verskeidenheid gewasse gebruik word. VERTE-X-PLODE is bedoel as n aanvulling en nie om normale kunsmisprogramme te vervang nie. Blaarvoeding: Kunsmisbrand kan teen n konsentrasie van 4 % of hoër verwag word. Die maksimum aanbevole toedieningspeil is 3 % (3 liter VERTE-X-PLODE in 100 liter water) tensy anders vermeld. Plante moet bespuit word net tot voor die punt van afloop en toedienings kan weekliks of tweeweekliks herhaal word. Blaarvoedings moet tydens koel periodes van die dag toegedien word en om kunsmisbrand te verhoed, moet plante wat aan vog- en hittestres blootgestel is, nie bespuit word nie. Herhaal elke twee weke tydens die aktiewe groeiseisoen. MENGBAARHEID Indien met ander chemikalieë gemeng word, moet n verenigbaarheidstoets vooraf gedoen word. Indien VERTE-X-PLODE in kombinasie met ander landbouchemikalieë vir die eerste keer op n gewas toegedien word, behoort n klein toetsarea eers behandel en geëvalueer word alvorens die totale gewas bespuit word.
