Day Classes Time: 1:00 to 4:00 pm Date: Thursdays on March 9 th, 16 th, 23 th, & 30 th, April 6 th, 13 th, & 20 th. Time: 6:00 to 9:00 pm Date: Tuesdays on March 7 th, 14, 21 th, 28 th, April, 4 th, 11 th, 18 th Sujok Therapy Sujok is a special science and method to heal diseases and body aches and pains by stimulation of the hands and feet with a combined use of acupuncture, finger pressure therapy or with a blunt tip instrument. Originating in Korea, by Prof. Park Woo, this technique is widely used in many countries and is relatively easy to learn and very effective. This Sujok method of has been said to surpass the reflexology techniques due to its more effective results with patients and the ease of use without any side effects. One will learn to identify the diseased or a pain by pressing and sensing pain at a particular point in the hand and/or feet. The pain is an indication that the corresponding body part needs more energy by way of stimulation or seed therapy, a complimentary method to Sujok therapy. An important benefit to Sujok is that any ailment that can be healed by acupressure methods can be cured by the Sujok Therapy faster and more effectively. Once a person knows Sujok therapy, that person can use it as a self cure method to heal simple ailments like cold, sore throat or back pain. Join us on this new course that has arrived in Canada at EMA Academy Cost: $750 Credit: 250 credits Teacher: Javad Darehshiri (RCRT, RAC) Time: 6:00 9:00 pm Date: TBA in 2017 3

It is based on a 5

system of zones and reflex areas that purportedly reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, with the premise that such work effects a physical change to the body Reflexology was introduced into the United States in 1913 by William H. Fitzgerald, M.D. (1872-1942), an ear, nose, and throat specialist who called it "zone therapy." As noted in the diagram to the right, he used vertical lines to divide the body into 10 zones. Eunice D. Ingham (1899-1974) further developed reflexology in the 1930s and 1940s, concentrating on the feet [3] Mildred Carter, a former student of Ingham, subsequently promoted foot reflexology as a miraculous health method [4-6]. A 1993 mailing from her publisher stated: Not only does Reflexology let you cure the worst illnesses safely and permanently, it can even work to reverse the aging process, Carter says. Say goodbye to age lines, dry skin, brown spots, and blemishes with Reflexology you can actually give yourself an at-home facelift with no discomfort or disfiguring surgery.
